Geno was exceptional. One of the best shows I’ve ever seen anywhere by anybody. Up there with the first time I saw Otway & Barrett. A very special, very brilliant evening.
Geno performed a 1¾ hour set, solid, no break – kept the audience’s attention 100% for every split second. A magical evening for the audience who utterly loved the duo. Incidentally, the guitarist was mind-bogglingly superb.
The DJ Mike Reid introduced Geno – then watched the entire gig. I received a thank you mail from Mike this morning – amazing, amazing, amazing. I appreciate how lucky I am to get Geno at the Crooked Billet & thank you hugely for making this happen.
